Photo of the day today is of Diet Dr. Perky....I literally laughed out loud (lol) when I saw this in my fridge this morning...apparently it is from Food Lion. It conjures up several images, most of them not rated PG...use your imagination!

Its been awhile

SO, I am really sucky at this picture a day...I have thought about it almost eery day but just havent gotten around to it. But alas, its my blog, so I can do waht I want to do! :)

Today I am sharing my pictures from last weekend. Marco and I decided we were totally stir crazy and in desperate need of some Vitamin D! Although it wasnt totalyl warm, we took a field trip out to Round valley to walk around. It was so peaceful and nice out! And the coolest thing was that parts of the resevoir were still frozen, while other parts had icebergs washing up on shore, which was really cool to look at. At some parts, you could see where the ice flows had actually moved rocks and parts of the bottom of the reservoir around. It was pretty cool and SO SO SO SO nice to get some fresh air!

Beiber fever?

Marco and I think maybe we should videotape and post pictures of Alex drumming on the internet so when they make a Bieber-esque film,we have footage. Plus he is way cuter then Justin Beiber. Alex really does keep a decent beat, especially considering he is 1 and a half! Cant wait to hear him on a real set! Hope he remembers his Aunt Thais when he is rich and famous

Ice Skating!

So our neice Elizabeth is spending the weekend with us. For the past year, she has been asking to go ice skating, so today was the day! I, of coruse, sat out due to klutziness/already screwed up ankle and Kiki kept me company! Marco LOVES to skate and is quite good at it! They had a blast and Big E was extremely impressive for the first time on skates! I give her major credit for her fearlessness and her ability to pop back up after a major spill! Despite being quite chilly, she was a trooper! I just wish I had a slightly better zoom on my camera, as the onyl viewing area was elevated bleachers and it was a bit away from where I could get a nice shot!

Snug as a Bug in a Rug

Marco was not feeling so good today after his little dental procedure, so our old man took care of him by curling up and taking a nap with him.....I am amazaed at how small he gets himself. He is old, blind as a bat, cranky, diabetic and a major PIA, but still one of the greatest companions anyone could ever ask for in life! Plus he is really cute!

Snow 2011...round ?

So, again I will be posting more snow pictures b.c. that is pretty much the center of our lives right now. We woke up to more snow then expected (sensing a trend here?) but I must say it was really pretty. It took Marco (and partially me) nearly an hour and 15 minutes to dig out my car and 1/2 of the driveway. Part of the problem is there is no where to put the snow!! It reminds me of winter of 1996 where we had a similar problem! They are alrady forecasting more snow over the weekend (a dusting...but we all know what happened last time they said "a dusting" ) and possibly another storm next weekend! My husband is in all of his glory, as he loves the snow. While I dont entirely love it, I dont find myself hating it! My car drives like a TANK in the snow (i love my Venza - best car ever...if you are looking for a new car/cross over, test drive it!) and it is proving to me that if i ever wanted to move to the Adirondacks, I could actually survive! Enjoy the pictures!
